The present state of our economy is taking it's toll on everyone. The 2009 World Paragliding Championships were held from Jan. 26 to Feb. 6, in Valle de Bravo, Mexico this year, located in Central Mexico (Lat: 19° 10' 60 N, Long: 100° 7' 60 W). Jet Pack Pilot Eric Scott has made a world record attempt at "Top Speed by a Jet Pack". On May 10, 2009 at Knockhill Racing Circuit in Scotland, Scott was clocked by police radar at 68mph which is indeed a new world record.
